According to the method of installation, lighting poles can be divided into:

• Flanged poles involve a flanged connection of the pole to the foundation block (an anchor unit that is concreted into the ground). A special flange is welded to the lower part of the pole, which is connected to the anchor unit using nuts. This design makes it possible to easily replace a damaged pole (for example, in the event of a car accident) without the need to dismantle its foundation part.

• Upright poles (with ground installation) are installed by deepening the pole directly into the ground. At the same time, it is important to consider the pole’s height, because part of the pole will be placed underground, which will lower the lighting point.

The installation of metal poles involves only underground feeding of the power cable. This contributes to additional protection of cable lines and gives poles a more aesthetic appearance. For the convenience of maintenance, a special inspection hatch is placed in the pole.
