The development of engineering solutions gave rise to a simple and at the same time revolutionary invention – a lightning receiver. Its principle of operation is to divert an electric charge from a building to the ground through a metal conductor. Today, lightning receivers have become an indispensable element of protecting facilities, especially such as: gas stations, warehouses of hazardous chemicals, sanatoriums and industrial enterprises.
